The Muxtape Messiah: Paul's Boutique

I consider myself to be a savvy Internet user, but I sometimes have to admit to not understanding the practical applications of certain websites. For example, in recent months I've gotten really excited about and then dumped a number of apps, including NetNewsWire for RSS feeds, PageOnce (internet start page), Joost and Miro for watching TV on the computer, Evernote for saving online notes, etc. etc. When I heard about Muxtape, I like the idea. And then did nothing about it. Commenter Joe reminded me of how useful it could be for people who would rather stream than download. So, while my two mini-mixes for Paul's Boutique including "Johnny Ryall" and "Shake Your Rump" remain up, here's a link to my Muxtape, which right now is made up of songs sampled for the album. Click anywhere in this text to listen to the mix, heavy on James Brown, Led Zeppelin, and Sly Stone.
